Flokati Rugs Making A Comeback

This week we hung up some newly-framed pictures on our office walls. One of the frames features four photos that were taken at the Greek factory where our flokati rugs are manufactured. Each photo represents a different stage in the rug making process, a process that involves hand woven 100% New Zealand wool. It reminded me that flokati area rugs have a long history.

Flokati wool rugs have been a Greek tradition for centuries. It was invented in 5th century Greece in a village located on the Pindos Mountains.
